Halloween and Pet Anxiety

article.title

4th of July isn't the only time pets experience holiday anxiety and stress. Halloween festivities with flashing lights, spooky costumes and scary noises plus a break in their routine increases their chances of anxiety and can even make them defensive.

Try to see things from their point of view and try to anticipate this.  Be prepared to comfort your pet with their favorite toy, blanket or just being close to you.

HAPPY and SAFE HALLOWEEN EVERYONE!

PS. I hope I have a better costume this year!
