As the national breed of France with a long and storied history dating to the 15th century, the poodle dog breed has certainly produced a number of individual dogs that have made their mark on history.
As you may know, the poodle comes in three sizes, toy, miniature and standard. All three sizes belong to the Poodle Club of American, aka PCA.
Because of purse's size, I am calling it a toy poodle. It could almost be life-like in size.
